Password protect payslips for your employees
Payslips contain pay, tax codes and National Insurance numbers. Emailing them as open attachments risks a personal data breach. Sealrift lets you protect each payslip with its own password, and it never uploads the payslips anywhere.
Built for UK payroll
- Works with payslip PDFs from payroll software, spreadsheets and bureau systems: anything that produces a PDF with selectable text. (HMRC's Basic PAYE Tools does not make payslips, so if you use it you probably make them another way; Sealrift works with those too.)
- UK date formats (DD/MM/YYYY) are understood in your CSV.

Why not a cloud service?
Uploading payslips to a website means another company holds your employees' pay data. With Sealrift there is no upload: the processing runs in your browser, so there is no third party to assess and nothing to go wrong in someone else's systems.
A good password rule
Date of birth alone is easy to guess for someone who knows the employee. Combine two facts, for example the last four characters of the NI number and the postcode, and tell staff the rule separately from the email that carries the payslip.
