Split a payslips PDF by employee
Payroll software often exports every payslip in one long PDF. Sealrift splits it into one file per employee and password-protects each one, without the file ever leaving your computer.
Split by page count or by employee number
- One page per payslip: choose "every 1 page". Sealrift can still read the employee number on each page to name the file and find the right password.
- Payslips that run to two pages (Pro): choose "auto-split by ID" and enter the label printed on the payslip, such as
Employee No:. A new file starts only when the number changes, so page 2 stays with page 1.
Name each file the way you want
With Pro, name files with a template such as {ID}_{SURNAME}_Payslip_{MONTH}, using columns from your CSV.
Then protect each payslip
Take passwords from a CSV column or build them from employee data, such as the date of birth and the last four characters of the National Insurance number. Send passwords separately from the payslips.
